A sealing mask design program for designing sealing masks which, meant to seal the cells open at the end of a honeycomb structure, have mask holes corresponding to the cells. The sealing mask design program executes in an information processing device a step for detecting the positions of the cells to be sealed on the basis of an image of the end of the honeycomb structure and a step for determining the positions of the mask holes of the sealing mask on the basis of the cell positions. Thus, the positions of the mask holes are determined on the basis of an actual image of the honeycomb structure to be sealed by the sealing mask being designed, alignment with the cells of the honeycomb structure can be facilitated, and masks can be designed useful in reliably sealing cells.
