An artificial microstructure is provided in the invention. The artificial microstructure includes a first metal line and a second metal line. Said first metal line is a helix which extends outwards helically starting from a central point, said second metal line extends parallel to the first metal line, and said second metal line is connected to the first metal line only at the outermost end of the helix formed by the first metal line. The artificial microstructure of the invention can increase the length of the metal line arranged in the same volume, and then can increase the value of the equivalent capacitance and reduce the resonance frequency, which is advantages to realize the highly integration and avoid or reach certain special frequency band, thus realizing the magnetic resonance function which the existing metamaterial can not realize. In addition, a magnetic resonance metamaterial including said artificial microstructure is provided in the invention.
