The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for studying using an e-learning application on a smartphone, and for evaluating the results of the studying. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: an input unit receiving an input signal; a storage unit storing problem data and correct-answer data for the problem data, and storing correct-answer input window information according to the format of the problem data; a study evaluation control unit generating a problem set including problem data and answer data, generating the correct-answer input window corresponding to the problem data, and detecting coordinate values of an input signal inputted into the correct-answer window; and an output unit outputting problem data and a correct-answer input window corresponding to the problem data, and outputting an input value inputted into the correct-answer window.
