STEREOCOMPLEXES OF POLY-L-LACTIDE URETHANE AND POLY-D-LACTIDE URETHANE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

The invention relates to a stereocomplex of poly-L-lactide urethane and poly-D-lactide urethane and to a method for producing said stereocomplex including the polymerisation of the L-lactide and D-lactide in the presence of a catalytic system, in order to form a prepolymer of poly-L-lactide and poly-D-lactide, respectively, said prepolymers then being placed in contact with a diisocyanate compound and optionally with a diamine or a glycol, in order to form a poly-L-lactide urethane and a poly-D-lactide urethane, respectively. The polymers thus formed are then mixed with a weight ratio of 30/70 to 70/30 in order to form the stereocomplex. The invention also relates to the uses of said stereocomplexes.
