Method for determining an ophthalmic lens using different astigmatism prescription for far and near distance vision

The process involves choosing an initial lens and defining a current lens equal to the initial lens. The current lens is optimized, in focal conditions, by using as target, the astigmatism prescribed to person having distant vision and the astigmatism prescribed to person having near vision. The prescription of astigmatism in near vision is measured with binocular vision. An independent claim is also included for a lens.
