The memory management unit (30) divides data word into several partial data words and outputs each partial data word through data bus interface (42) of memory module (12), during data write access. The data word comprising individual partial data words is read from memory module through data bus interface, during read access. The data word includes partial data word which corresponds to bits addressable with system address bus interface (32) of system data bus interface (38). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for managing memory access of memory management unit; and (2) memory management system.
