The invention relates to a reception system (SYS) comprising a superheterodyne-type receiver (REC) coupled to a processing means (MTR), said receiver comprising a number N of antennas (V1 ,..., VN). In addition, the receiver comprises: N translation means (MEL1 1,... MEL1 N), each capable of translating the frequency of the signals delivered by the antenna in question, from a frequency sub-band within the range of interest to a restricted frequency band and multiplexing the frequency of the signals belonging to said frequency sub-band; N first intermediate frequency band-pass filters (FPN1 1,..., FP1 N) having a bandwidth equal to the restricted frequency band, said filters being coupled at the output of each translation means respectively and capable of filtering the translated and multiplexed signals; and a coupling means (CPL) which can sum the N filtered signals such as to deliver all of the summed signals via N outputs. The processing means comprises N other translation means (MEL21,..., MEL2N) coupled to N other intermediate frequency band-pass filters (FPB21,..., FPB2N) having a frequency bandwidth equal to L, said filters being coupled to N spectral analysers (AS1,..., ASN) all having the same restricted analysis frequency band of width L. Every other rank i translation means, i being an integer varying between 1 and N, can transpose the signals delivered by the coupling means using a translation signal having a frequency adapted to every other translation means, such that the other intermediate frequency band-pass filter connected at the output of the other translation means can filter the ith sub-band of the total frequency band of width L.N, to which the signals summed by the coupling means belong.
