PURPOSE: A manuscript decoding apparatus and method thereof are provided to reduce the consumption rate of print papers by displaying a manuscript in a saving print mode.;CONSTITUTION: A manuscript detection unit(105) detects a manuscript within a manuscript reception unit. A manuscript decoding unit(107) creates a decoding screen by decoding the manuscript within the manuscript reception unit. A printing mode selection unit(111) selects a communication or a saving print mode. A confirmation screen display unit(113) display a confirmation screen including a mode changing button based on the deduction result of the manuscript detection unit.
