2D METAMATERIAL CRLH ZEROTH ORDER RESONANCE DNG AND ENG ANTENNA OF A MICRO STRIP PATCH STRUCTURE WHICH IS CAPACITIVELY COUPLED WITH A RECTANGULAR RING CAPABLE OF DRASTICALLY INCREASING THE GAIN OF AN EXISTING SMALL ZEROTH ORDER RESONANCE MONOPOLE
PURPOSE: A 2D metamaterial CRLH zeroth order resonance DNG and ENG antenna of a micro strip patch structure which is capacitively coupled with a rectangular ring is provided to configure a rectangular ring-path zeroth resonance antenna which is made of single cells, thereby maintaining the low profile of a micro strip.;CONSTITUTION: A metamaterial CRLH zeroth order resonance DNG and ENG antenna includes a rectangular ring with a patch and an interval for forming a serial capacitance of left and right hand structures. The metamaterial CRLH zeroth order resonance DNG and ENG antenna includes a shortcut pin array to form a shunt inductance of a complex left/right hand transmission structure. A rectangular ring(12) forms a serial capacitance with a gap. A shunt inductance is formed by arranging shortcut pins(13) of a rectangular ring. The size of the gap for determining the serial capacitance gets smaller according to a desired resonance point value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
