PURPOSE: A half hollow ball valve is provided to ensure use even at a relatively high pressure since a plurality of annular grooves are formed on an annular seat ring, so lubricating action and sealing of a frictional moving unit increase.;CONSTITUTION: A half hollow ball valve is as follows. A pair of annular seat rings(31,31') make contact between a pair of round protrusions(12,12'). A plurality of annular grooves(30,30') are shaped on the annular seat ring. A half hollow ball(32) making frictional contact movement is assembled on the annular seat ring. A flow hole(15) is formed on the central part of the side of the half hollow ball. A linear groove(16) is formed on the top central part in the direction of the flow hole. The half hollow ball is assembled to a body(10). The half hollow ball comprises open surfaces, which are formed adjacent to the linear groove and on the inner side of both edges(33,33') of the flow hole.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
