PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously analyzing cholesterol, oxysterol, and bile acid in urine is provided to treat diseases and to prevent side effect.;CONSTITUTION: A method for simultaneously detecting cholesterol, oxysterol, and bile acid in urine comprises a step of TMS(trimethylsilylation) derivatization of cholesterol, oxysterol, and bile acid contained in a urine sample. The simultaneous detection comprises: a process of treating enzyme to the urine sample for hydrolyzation; and a process of solvent extraction. The enzyme is beta-glucuronidase or arylsulfatase. They used solvent is a mixture solution of ethyl acetate and n-hexane, ethyl ether, or t-butyl methyl ether.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
