PURPOSE: A position recognition system for removing floating matters from a hot dip galvanizing bath is provided to allow an end effector to gather floating matters based on a distance between a manipulator and a hot dip galvanizing bath.;CONSTITUTION: A position recognition system for removing floating matters from a hot dip galvanizing bath comprises a radiant heat sensor(30), a temperature comparison unit, a manipulator control unit, and an end effector control unit. The radiant heat sensor is installed in one side of a manipulator(10) or an end effector(20) and measures the temperature of radiant heat generated on the surface of a hot dip galvanizing bath. When the measured temperature of the radiant heat is under a reference temperature, the temperature comparison unit generates a movement signal. The manipulator control unit receives the movement signal from the temperature comparison unit and moves the manipulator. The end effector control unit controls the end effector to remove floating matters from the hot dip galvanizing bath.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
