APEX UNCURLING METHOD AND APPARATUS OF A TIRE BEAD SEMI-PRODUCT CAPABLE OF IMPROVING MOLDING PROCESSABILITY

PURPOSE: An apex uncurling method and apparatus of a tire bead semi-product are provided to improve productivity by supplying an apex which is bent while uniting with a bead to a molding process after unfolding the apex and preventing rework due to apex folding.;CONSTITUTION: A free rotation roller(200) revolves in a columnar direction by being touched to a bead semi-product which is settled on a conveyor(30). An air cylinder(100) compresses the free rotation roller in the bead semi-product. A rotation driving member rotates the air cylinder in the columnar direction using a rotation center axis(400). A pressing roll is installed on the upper side of the conveyor in a location which is separated with the free rotation roller. The pressing roll unfolds an apex(10) by compressing the bead semi-product which is transferred according to the conveyor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
