PURPOSE: A real-time global position tracing system and method are provided to firstly trace the direction of a tag using the intensity of a signal which is income and to secondly trace a location of the tag using a time and direction of arrival mode.;CONSTITUTION: A real-time global position tracing system comprises a tag(210), a plurality of readers(220a-220d), a plurality of directional antennas(230a-230d), and a controller(240). The tag is attached to a position tracking target object. A plurality of readers receives information from the tag and transmits the information of the tag, the intensity of a signal, and reader information to an upper layer. A plurality of directional antennae is installed in a plurality of readers and receives transmission information from the tag. The directional antenna receives information which is transmitted from the upper layer and transmits the information to the tag as the form of a propagation signal.
