PURPOSE: A management message transmitting and receiving method in a communication network and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce a delay according to a recovery from a lost management message or fractions of the management message, thereby increasing efficiency in a wireless communication network.;CONSTITUTION: A management message for transmission is received(204). The transmission apparatus determines a type of the management message(206). The transmission apparatus determines a feedback type with respect to the management message(208). The transmission apparatus determines a feedback demand from a receiving apparatus based on the determined type of the management message. The management message is divided into more than one fraction. The transmission apparatus determines transmission necessity of a feedback command(210).
