PURPOSE: A low temperature hardening type water-soluble moderate composition for automobile surface coating is provided to reduce fuel energy use and CO2 generation by decreasing the hardening temperature from 150-160C to 140C. CONSTITUTION: A low temperature hardening type water-soluble moderate composition for automobile surface coating comprises polyurethanes dispersion main resin, 30-60wt% polyester sub resin and melamine resin. The polyurethanes dispersion main resin contains hydroxy. The melamine resin maintains the weight ratio of 9:1-1:2(solid standard) against the main resin+sub resin. The weight ratio of polyurethane dispersion main resin and polyester sub resin is 10:1-3:1. The melamine resin comprises a methoxy group melamine resin and a hybrid melamine resin with the ratio of 1:2-2:1. The hydroxyl number of polyurethane dispersion main resin is 70-170. The weight ratio of nonvolatile components is 30-55wt%. The glass transition temperature(Tg) is -30 - 30C.
