Anionic Polymerization of Functionalized Styrene Derivatives directly containing Triphenylamine

A vinyl phenyl triphenylamine monomer and derivative are provided to control molecular weight and distribution of molecular weight and to ensure excellent thermal stability. A vinylphenyltriphenylamine has a structure represented by the chemical formula 1. A polymer comprises a repeating unit represented by the chemical formula 2. In chemical formulas, R and R' are independently CH3, OCH3, F, OH, CN or H. The polymer is prepared by performing anionic polymerization or radical polymerization of the vinyl phenyl triphenylamine monomer. The anionic polymerization uses s-butyllithium as an initiator and methanol as a terminator.
