VEGETATION COMPOSITION HAVING THE ABILITY TO ADSORB HEAVY METALS AND VEGETATION MAT USING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR GREENING A SLOPE

PURPOSE: A functional vegetation composition for absorbing heavy metals, a vegetation mat using thereof, and a slope greening method using thereof are provided to remove the heavy metals from water for purifying. CONSTITUTION: A functional vegetation composition for absorbing heavy metals is obtained by the following steps: knead-molding 10-20wt% of bentonite, 20-25wt% of zeolite, 10-20wt% of magnesium hydroxide, and 35-45wt% of apatite to obtain a molded mixture; heat-processing the molded mixture at 100-120 deg C for 2-3 hours, at 150-180 deg C for 2-3 hours, and at 280-320 deg C for 2-3 hours to obtain a hardened material; and cooling the hardened material at 150-180 deg C for 2-3 hours, and at 100-120 deg C for 2-3 hours. A vegetation mat(100) includes the mixed and fired functional vegetation composition, a water soluble non-woven fabric(110), and a supporting mat.
