ONTOLOGY BASEDCONTEXT AWARENESS SYSTEM AND SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An ontology based context recognition system and a service providing method using the same are provided to offer a seamless and dynamic user-centered service. CONSTITUTION: An upper ontology has a plurality of classes. A lower class is prepared to express a state in each class. A domain ontology has a plurality of classes. The plurality of classes is defined as the lower class of the class of the upper ontology. A context recognition cooperation system(1021~102N) collects context data from a plurality of devices existing in a corresponding zone and creates instances. The context recognition cooperation system requests a service mapped to be corresponded to a high level context.
