PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a fullerene-silica nanocomplex for a UV blocking composition and the UV blocking composition thereof are provided to secure the sun protecting ability of fullerene by coating a micro-emulsion with silica and to improve biocompatibility. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a fullerene-silica nanocomplex comprises the following steps: dispersing fullerene to an organic solvent; adding a surfactant to the fullerene solution, and stirring to form a micro-emulsion; and inserting a silica precursor and a catalyst to the micro-emulsion, and stirring to form the fullerene-silica nanocomplex.
