PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the impedance of a radio frequency identification tag antenna are provided to reduce time and cost required for measuring the impedance. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding chamber(10) includes an internal wall and an electromagnetic wave absorbing body. A measuring support(20) is fixed to the bottom of the electromagnetic wave shielding chamber. A measuring probe is downwardly installed at the center of the ceiling in the electromagnetic wave shielding chamber. A network analyzer(40) is in connection with one end part of the measuring probe through a cable.
