PURPOSE: A colored curable composition, a color filter, a method for manufacturing the same, a solid state imaging device, a liquid crystal display device, and a pigment polymer are provided to improve the color purity, the photo resistance characteristic, and the heat resistance characteristic of the composition by including a xanthene structure.;CONSTITUTION: A colored curable composition includes a colorant polymer, a polymerizable compound, a photo-polymerization initiator, and an organic solvent. The colorant polymer includes a xanthene structure as the partial structure of colorant parts. The xanthene structure is a color structure derived from a xanthene compound represented by chemical formula M.
