PURPOSE: A based station reception apparatus of multiple antenna communication system and uplink adaptation method thereof are provided to control transmission capacities of a terminal according to a channel state by calculating an SINR(Signal-to-Interference and Noise Ratio).;CONSTITUTION: One or more reception antennas receives an SRS(Sounding Reference Signal) from a terminal. A fast Fourier transform units(321-324) processes a reception signal of the reception antenna. An SRS processing unit(326) calculates an SINR for each transmission symbols received from the SRS transmitted from the fast Fourier transform units.
