PURPOSE: A short distance and long distance sound field simultaneous control apparatus and method are provided to execute a focusing process by distinguishing and controlling a short distance field and a long distance field.;CONSTITUTION: A filter generating unit(310) creates a filter which controls sound pressure reduction according to distance in a second dark zone region. A short distance region setting unit(311) establishes a short distance region based on the location of a listener. A region distinction unit(313) distinguishes the short distance region into the location of the listener and a first dark zone region around the location of the listener. A filter processing unit(320) creates a multi channel signal by calculating the filter value of a filter and an input signal. An output unit outputs the multi channel signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
