PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner and a hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner are provided to reduce conduction failure over long-term use since a rotating pipe preventing the twisting of a dust collecting hose is supplied.;CONSTITUTION: A hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner comprises a flexible hose(21), a handle operating pipe(22), a gripping unit(23), and an operation unit(24). A plurality of conductive wires(46a,46b,46c,46d) connecting both ends of the flexible hose are arranged on the flexible hose. The handle operating pipe comprises a cylindrical rotating pipe, and an outer cover(39), and a contact unit. A group of electrode rings comprises a plurality of electrode rings arranged along the central line of a rotating pipe. The outer cover supports the rotating pipe around the central line of the rotating pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
