PURPOSE: An optimized path call routing method with a device identifier is provided to enable call routing optimized between input point and output point using the registry of a saved identifier.;CONSTITUTION: A network(100) is offered in order to route call between an input point(110) and an output point(120). The input point and the output point correspond to one among various communications devices such as a standard phone, a cellular phone or a wireless device, a computer, PDA, a voice over internet protocol phone, and a soft phone. The network comprises a routing element(130) and a registry(140). The registry comprises registry input.
