PURPOSE: A power quality measuring apparatus and a method for analysis of instantaneous voltage drop using thereof are provided to implement immediate response and administration of the instantaneous voltage drop. CONSTITUTION: An instantaneous voltage drop measuring unit measure the level of instantaneous voltage drop and a duration time from obtained voltage data and outputs an instantaneous voltage drop event. A monitoring period estimating unit(230) collects the instantaneous voltage drop events and calculates an annual average of the instantaneous voltage drop event. The monitoring period estimating unit estimates the minimum monitoring period of the instantaneous voltage drop event from the annual average.
