CONVERSION OF STRONG ORGANIC WASTEWATER TO METHANE THROUGH ANAEROBIC DIGESTION PLANT AND PROCESS

PURPOSE: Anaerobic treating apparatus and method for methanizing every organic material in high concentration wastewater are provided to improve treating speed and treating efficiency by expanding the contacting time of wastewater and microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: An anaerobic treating apparatus includes a reacting bath(6), anaerobic reaction activating units(5,7,9,11), and a gas circulating part(13). Raw water is introduced into the reacting bath and is treated based on an anaerobic reaction. Gas and treated water is discharged from the reacting bath. Activating parts of different shapes are arranged in the reacting bath and divide the reacting bath into multi-stages. A maintaining space is formed by the anaerobic reaction activating units and collects gas. The collected gas passes through the activating parts and is solid-liquid separated into gas and liquid. The gas and the liquid are stirred. The gas circulating part is arranged at one side of the reacting bath. The gas circulating part upwardly circulates the gas in the maintaining space, and the raw water is downwardly moved to generate stirring.
