PURPOSE: A touch screen panel is provided to obtain a thin touch screen panel by locating an infrared emitting part and an infrared sensing part at the lateral side of a substrate.;CONSTITUTION: Touch input is applied to a planar touch input region(10). Infrared ray emitting parts(20) are arranged at a first side and a second side of the touch input region. The infrared ray emitting parts emit infrared ray to a third side and a fourth side of the touch input region which face the first side and the second side of the touch input region.
