PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a phase difference film and a surface type switching mode LCD are provided to form a clear image by minimizing color shift and improving the contrast ration of light and shade.;CONSTITUTION: A first optical anisotropy coating layer(20) and a second optical anisotropy coating layer(30) are formed by spreading coating layer formation compositions on one surface of a transparent base(10). Each coating layer forming composite of the first optical anisotropy coating layer and the second optical anisotropy coating layer has an optimized refractive index. Total thickness of the first optical anisotropy coating layer and the second optical anisotropy coating layer is less than 400nm and the thickness of each layer is similar.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
