PURPOSE: An installation structure of a fitting plug for blocking a pipe is provided to reduce the abrasion of a seal ring since a segment connecting shaft is separated from a segment controlling screw, so the moving length of the segment controlling screw is minimized. CONSTITUTION: An installation structure of a fitting plug for blocking a pipe comprises a segment controlling screw(120) and a stopper. After the plug is pushed in the fitting flange, the segment controlling screw is rotated by wrench outside the flange, and a segment(81) is gradually protruded inwardly and is inserted into the coupling groove of the plug. The segment is guided by both stoppers and both protrusions(82) of the segment are caught by the stopper, so the segment is not completely pulled out of a space. If six segments are inserted into the coupling groove of the plug, the plug is firmly coupled into the flange.
