PURPOSE: A spindle motor for disk driving device and a disk driving device having the same are provided to generate sufficient torque to reduce vibration or noise.;CONSTITUTION: A stator(22) is arranged on the top of a base part(21). A rotor hub(31) includes a cover part(311) and a side wall part(312). A rotor magnet(32) is arranged on the inner surface of the side wall part of the rotor hub. A bearing tool(4) supports the rotor hub and the rotor magnet for rotating around the base part and the stator. The height of the rotor magnet is 2 mm to 3 mm inclusive in the axis direction. The height of stator core of the stator is 50% to 75% inclusive of the height of the rotor magnet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
