PURPOSE: A method to control particle size of mesoporous silica nanoparticle using stability constant of transition metal salt is provided to control particle size of mesoporous silica nanoparticle using stability constant which is determined in accordance with types of transition metal salt and composition ratio of transition metal salt and poly(alkylene oxide) block copolymer. CONSTITUTION: A method to control particle size of mesoporous silica nanoparticle using stability constant of transition metal salt comprises the following steps: mixing poly(alkylene oxide) block copolymer and transition metal salt with water; measuring conductivity of the mixture; calculating stability constant using the conductivity; according to the stability constant, determining transition metal type and composition ratio of poly(alkylene oxide) block copolymer to transition metal sa adding silica precursor to the mixture of poly(alkylene oxide) block copolymer, transition metal salt and hydrothermally synthesizing.
