DIKETO-PYRROLO-PYRROLE DYE HAVING HIGH TRANSMITTANCE FOR COLOR FILTERS AND PROCESS OF PROCESSING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A high-pass diketopyrrolo-pyrrole(DPP) based dye for color filter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance solubility, thermal stability, and robustness and decrease phenomenon of brightness. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a high-pass diketopyrrolo-pyrrole(DPP) based dye for color filter comprises the following steps: dissolving diketopyrrolo-pyrrole(DPP) derivatives and sodium t-butoxide in dimethylformamide(DMF) under nitrogen atmosphere which are represented by chemical formula 1; adding alkyl halide to the dissolved solution and reacting with the added mixture; collecting organic layer by adding ethyl acetate and water to the compound after cooling the compound; removing moisture which is remained in the organic layer; vacuum filtrating solvent from the organic layer; separating mono-alkylated compound from residue after filtering; and washing and drying the separated mono-alkylated compound.
