PURPOSE: Target tracking apparatus and method are provided to enhance target detecting performance by adjusting the position of a target.;CONSTITUTION: A target tracking method comprises next steps. Any image is received. The acceleration of X-, Y-, and Z-axes sensed by an acceleration sensor(11) is received. The angular velocity of X-, Y-, and Z-axes sensed by an angular-velocity sensor(12) is received. Images are received by an interface unit from an LKAS(Lane Keeping Assist System). The time when receiving the image on the acceleration of each axis exceeding a critical value is matched with the frame of the image. At least one value exceeding the critical value is used. The pixel moving value from the central part of the target of the frame matched to the central part of the target of a previous frame is calculated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
