PURPOSE: A car deck pillar and a method of installing the car deck pillar with a hinge applied to an RoRo ship are provided to omit a separate marking process by rotating a pillar after transferring a car deck and the pillar, which are integrally assembled, to an installation position. CONSTITUTION: A method of installing the car deck pillar with a hinge applied to an RoRo ship is as follows A pillar(2) is rotatably integrated with a car deck with a hinge every car deck(1). The car deck and pillar integrated are supplied to an installation position in the RoRo ship, the car deck is fixed to hull and the pillar is stood around the hinge. The perpendicularity of the filler placed on the car deck is measured. The car deck hinge-coupled to the pillar is welded. A liftable car deck is loaded on the pillar.
