PURPOSE: A piston valve assembly of a shock absorber is provided to easily control the damping force without increasing a number of a disc plate because an opening gap is secured due to the external diameter difference between a sliding valve and multi-disc although a disc spring is used.;CONSTITUTION: A piston valve assembly of a shock absorber comprises a piston valve body(131), a multi-plate disc(138), a sliding valve(155), a disc spring(156), and a valve washer(157). The sliding valve is installed in the lower part of the multi-plate disc to have a smaller external diameter than the multi-plate disc's external diameter, thereby securing a first opening gap when the multi-plate disc is transformed. The disc plate is installed in the lower part of the sliding valve to pressurize the sliding valve toward the multi-plate disc. The valve washer supporting the disc spring in the lower part. When the pressure of the operating fluid is increased after securing the first opening gap, the sliding valve is moved in a straight line while pressurizing the disc spring so that a second opening gap is secured.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
