PURPOSE: A forward osmosis membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the contaminated degree of the forward osmosis membrane by improving the water permeation rate of the forward osmosis membrane compared to a reverse osmosis membrane.;CONSTITUTION: A forward osmosis membrane includes a net layer(10), a porous supporting layer, and a porous active layer. The porous active layer is formed by coating a polymer mixed solution on the net layer. The porous active layer is formed by coating the polymer mixed solution on the porous supporting layer. The net layer is based on polyamide or nylon. The thickness of the net layer is between 30 and 70 μm. The mesh number of the net layer is between 20 and 350 mesh/inch. The opening area of the net layer is between 30 to 50%. The thicknesses of the porous supporting layer and the porous active layer are respectively between 20 to 60 μm and between 5 to 15 μm. The polymer mixed solution is one or a first polymer solution, a second polymer solution, a third polymer solution, and a fourth polymer solution. The first polymer solution is based on cellulose acetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and acetic acid. The second polymer solution is based on cellulose acetate, cellulose triacetate, acetone, methyl butyl ketone, and acetic acid. The third polymer solution is based on cellulose acetate, cellulose triacetate, acetone, methyl isobutyl ketone, and acetic anhydride.
