PURPOSE: A vacuum degree measuring device for a vacuum insulating material and a measuring method thereof are provided to improve product productivity because a degree of vacuum is measured by closely adhering to a vacuumized chamber to a part of an outer surface of the vacuum insulating material.;CONSTITUTION: A vacuum degree measuring device for a vacuum insulating material(100) comprises a chamber(110), a packing(120), a vacuum unit(130), and a displacement sensor(140). The chamber is closely adhered to some part of the vacuum insulating material(10). The chamber forms a closed space outside of the vacuum insulating material. The packing is formed in the lower part of the chamber, thereby closely adhering to the surface of the vacuum insulating material. The vacuum unit is connected to the chamber so that the pressure of the sealed space is controlled by the chamber. The displacement sensor is arranged inside of the chamber.
