PURPOSE: An upper grill burner for a gas stove is provided to increase the transition speed of flames since the upper burner is divided into a central part and a surrounding part, and the central part and the surrounding part are ignited at the same time.;CONSTITUTION: An upper grill burner for a gas stove comprises a central combusting unit(60) and a peripheral combusting unit(70). The central combusting unit comprises a center line. The peripheral combusting unit comprises an outside line. Independent venturi tubes(62, 72) are formed on each combusting unit.
