PURPOSE: A side core molding apparatus of a press mold for hot rolling of a tube shaped material is provided to prevent damage to a side core and a core actuating cylinder caused by pressure and impacts transmitted from the upper mold to the core actuating cylinder.;CONSTITUTION: A side core molding apparatus(a) of a press mold for hot rolling of a tube shaped material is as follows. A side core(1) is installed in a fixing cover(2) as a support plate(101) is inserted in an apparatus groove(202), with a shaped protrusion protruding out of an operating hole. A pressure plate(5) coupled with a cylinder rod and the fixing cover are bolted to the rear side of the side core molding apparatus. The operating hole and the apparatus groove are formed larger than the perimeter of the support plate and the shaped protrusion so that gaps are formed between the support plate and the shaped protrusion and the side core can move inside the fixing cover.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
