PURPOSE: A PC composite plate girder bridge having a PC slab and a steel girder and a construction method thereof are provided to facilitate construction and reduce construction period by using PC slabs without defect and also improve stability and durability by reducing stress or vibration. CONSTITUTION: A PC composite plate girder bridge having a PC slab and a steel girder includes steel girders(100), a PC slab(200), a plurality of horizontal thrust prevention plates, a plurality of vertical thrust prevention plates, a plurality of horizontal reinforcement plates, a plurality of vertical reinforcement plates, and first fastening units(150). The steel girder is assembled that a pair of plate girders(110) are in parallel. The width of the PC slab is wider than the steel girder and arranged on the top of the steel girders. The plurality of horizontal thrust prevention plates and vertical thrust prevention plates are arranged along each upper periphery of the plates in the lower part of the PC slab. The plurality of horizontal reinforcement plate and the vertical reinforcement plate are installed in the lower part of the horizontal thrust prevention plates and the vertical thrust prevention plates in predetermined intervals. The first fastening units penetrates the reinforcement plates and the thrust prevention plates to be fastened in grooves(220) of the PC slab, or penetrates the thrust prevention plates to be fastened in grooves filled with epoxy.
