HEAVE COMPENSATION DEVICE FOR REDUCING INFLUENCE OF HEAVE APPLIED TO DRILLING EQUIPMENT OR A SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A heave compensation device is provided to improve reliability with respect to heave compensation because a cylinder for heave compensation is arranged in the lower part of a yoke penetrating in a crown block to compensate heave.;CONSTITUTION: A heave compensation device includes a crown block(30), an upper cylinder(10), a supporting unit(15), a yoke(50), and a lower cylinder(20). The crown block is installed in the upper part of a derrick and includes at least two sheaves. A traveling block connected with a wire is moved upward and downward by the wire winding on the sheave. The upper cylinder has a rod connected with the upper end of the crown block. The supporting unit is connected to the upper cylinder to fix the upper cylinder. The yoke penetrates through the center part of the crown block. A main body of the lower cylinder is connected with the upper part of the derrick and a rod is respectively connected to the lower part of the left and the right sides of the yoke.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
