SILENCER FOR A VEHICLE CAPABLE OF OFFERING A NOISE REDUCTION OPERATION BY A COMBINATION OF A FRONT SILENCER AND A REAR SILENCER

PURPOSE: A silencer for a vehicle is provided to reduce the exhaust noise of a vehicle effectively using a lower limited space of a vehicle by assembling a plurality of small-capacity silencers.;CONSTITUTION: A silencer for a vehicle comprises a front muffler and a rear muffler. The front muffler comprises an intake and exhaust pipe(102), a body of the front muffler(101) and sound absorbing material(104). The exhaust gas flown to the intake and exhaust pipe is decreased before discharging to an intake and exhaust pipe outlet by an operating between exhaust noise, flow noise, holes of the intake and exhaust pipe(102a) and a resonator space(106). The rear muffler comprises a first, a second barrier and a first, a second, a third intake pipe. The first and the second barrier are formed inside a body of the rear muffler in order. The first space is formed between one side of an endplate and the first barrier. The second space is formed between the first barrier and the second barrier. The third space is formed between the other side of the endplate and the second barrier. An intake pipe passes through the first space and the second space. The suction tube passes through the first and the second space. An exit of opened intake pipe is connected to the third space.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
