摘要

PURPOSE: A system and a method for determining the size of a maximal MAC(Media Access Control) PDU(Protocol Data Unit) in real time are provided to enhance transfer efficiency by preventing service quality and capacity from decreasing due to retransmission.;CONSTITUTION: A base station controller(300) respectively obtains an error rate by inspecting a CRC(Cyclic Redundancy check) of each frame received from a plurality of mobile terminals. The base station controller obtains the average of obtained error rates. The base station controller determines a size of a MAC PDU(Media Access Control Protocol Data Unit) mapped with the average as a down-link maximum MAC PDU size. The base station controller transmits a command for changing a maximum MAC PDU size to the base station. Base stations(400a-400n) change a preset down-link maximum MAC PDU size into the maximum MAC PDU size included in the command for changing the maximum MAC PDU size from the base station controller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
