PURPOSE: A copper shoe with a molten pool protecting function for electro gas welding and an electro gas welding apparatus comprising the same are provided to restrict the toughness degradation of a welded metal zone by blocking the inflow of oxygen and nitrogen from the air dissociated by arc.;CONSTITUTION: A copper shoe with a molten pool protecting function for electro gas welding comprises a lateral gas flow part(110) and a longitudinal gas flow part(120). The lateral gas flow part discharges protective gas, which is provided inside the copper shoe, to molten pool in a lateral direction. The longitudinal gas flow part receives protective gas divided from the lateral gas flow part and discharges the protective gas to molten pool in a longitudinal direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
