PURPOSE: A method for forming a color filter substrate, a semi-transmission liquid crystal display device using the method, and a forming method of the semi-transmission liquid crystal display device are provided to make the thicknesses of color filter layers different wherein the color filter layers are formed on a reflection area and a reflection area.;CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(100) is formed. A color resist(110) is formed on the first substrate. A mask(120) is provided onto the color resist. The mask includes a semi-transmission mask(124) corresponding to a reflection area.
