PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic images, a toner cartridge, a process cartridge, an image forming method, and an image forming apparatus are provided to improve transferring characteristic under high temperature and humidity environment.;CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic images includes binding resin and carbon black. The acidity of the binding resin is between 10 and 20mgKOH/g. The density of carboxylic groups on the surface of the carbon black is between 2×10^-6 and 8×10^-6 mol/m^2. The toner is manufactured in a water-based medium. A method for manufacturing the toner includes the following: a water-based dispersing solution containing resin particles and the carbon black is prepared; the resin particles and the carbon black are at least coagulated in the water-based dispersing solution in order to obtain coagulated particles; the coagulated particles are heated and fused.
