PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking the ignition of a gas burner is provided to enable a user to check the ignition state of a gas burner at any time through an infrared sensor, a MICOM, and an ignition state informing unit.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for checking the ignition of a gas burner comprises a limit switch(101), an infrared sensor(110), a MICOM(120), an ignition state informing unit(130), and a power supply unit(140). The limit switch has an automatic ignition device. The infrared sensor is installed to be adjacent to a gas burner to sense the ignition of the gas burner. The MICOM controls output for informing a user of the ignition state of the gas burner.
