PURPOSE: A retaining wall structure having a truss type pile arrangement and a construction method thereof are provided to can be utilized for a large-scale embankment work or cutting construction by supporting large soil pressure without using a separated supporting system.;CONSTITUTION: A retaining wall structure(1) having a truss type pile arrangement a plurality of first-row H-piles, a earth retaining wall, a plurality of second-row H-piles, and an inclined connection member. The plurality of first-row H-pipes is arrange along a traverse direction of a front surface of a cutting area and banking area at a predetermined interval and perpendicularly inserted into the underground. An earth retaining plate is installed to a traversal gap between the H-piles. The plurality of second H-piles is installed in a position dislocated from the first-row H-pile.
